Ten Weeks Old.

My Little Love Lamb is ten weeks old now. That seems so short, yet so long all at the same time. I feel like my Weebs has always been with us, and I just can't imagine life without him. Husby and I often ask ourselves, "what was our life like before him"? And we always reply with the same response, "boring".

Little Levi,

You bring us more joy and smiles every single day. You are the happiest little baby in the world and you can't go but a few hours without smiling and giggling at us. You are such a little pleasure! In the nursery on Sunday, when I went to pick you up, the nice lady who handed you to me said, "He is just the friendliest little baby! All he got done was smiling at me." What a compliment, little boy. I can see by your smile that you are genuinely kind. I love that about you.

You are starting to enjoy your swing more every day, which is great for Mommy. The other night you were fussy for a few hours, which is completely out of character for you. Usually when you cry, I pick you up or feed you and you are back to your content little self. But for those few hours, I could tell something was upsetting you. You kept tensing up like your tummy hurt, so Daddy got you some Little Tummy drops and within minutes you were back to your old self. It makes me sad when you're upset, little boy. You are just too precious to have ouchies.

You are starting to get real tears!! It breaks my heart when I see your eyes get red and little tears well up. You haven't shed one yet, but I know the time will be soon. I can't imagine a little tear drop rolling down your face. It will tear my guts clear out of my stomach and I will flubber and flail like a schoolgirl hurt on the playground. You have your pout face down pat. You literally frown when you're upset and you stick your perfect little lips out at me. You definitely know how to get your Mommy's attention, because I instantly drop what I'm doing to make you smile that perfect little smile again.

Sweetie.

You are eating so good these days! You eat 4 oz. throughout the day and then at night, before bedtime, you have a big feeding - usually six ounces, give or take. Keep growing for Mommy, Little One. You love music with your whole heart. You giggle and smile at your classical tunes and the excitement in your eyes when you play Patty Cake is to die for. You're favorite part is "roll em up, roll em up...."

Your Daddy made you sleep without your "snuggy" the other day. You hated it. Needless to say, you went back in your snuggy the next night. And you slept like a champ. You only woke up once to eat! It was...well, it was Heaven. Thank you, Baby Lovie. Mommy needed that.

You are starting to mimic us and it is hilarious. You are the jewel of our hearts and the sparkle in our eyes. We love you, Weebie Boy. We love you so much.
