Weddings

This weekend one of my dear friends married her best friend. It was a beautiful occasion, filled with class and love. I was the Guest Book Attendant and it was my first time at the job. I had so much fun! I am so proud of my little friend and glad that she found the love of her life. She is off in paradise enjoying her new marriage and soaking up the sun. Lucky her.

I think it’s safe to say that I’ve been in my fair share of weddings. In my twenty-four years of life, I have served as a Bridesmaid seven times, a Maid of Honor two times, a Cake Server one time and a Guest Book Attendant one time. Oh, and when I was little I was a flower girl once. I feel like a pro!

Tomorrow happens to be our three year anniversary of a blissful marriage, and I have been reflecting a lot on the days leading up to the big shebang. It was honestly one of the most fun weeks of my life. I was surrounded by all my best friends that entire week who served as Bridesmaids, Candle Lighters, Guest Book Attendant and of course, my Maid of Honor and we had a big bridal luncheon, got our nails and toes done together, put together programs, did a lot of talking and laughing and decorated the Church and reception hall for the biggest party my family has ever thrown! It was a blast, but just a precursor to the joy that my wedding day brought.

Tomorrow I will recap the event and sneak in a few pictures of my fairytale dream that was my wedding, complete with pics of our fabulous reception! Stay tuned!

Oh, and the three year anniversary gift is leather. Any ideas?!?! I need help!
